Marwell Zoo

On Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 June all of year 7 went to Marwell Zoo. Throughout the trip the girls studied the adaptations of the different animals in the zoo and learnt about endangered species.

To further focus their learning, the students attended a lecture given by one of the Marwell Zoo staff. In this lecture the girls were given the opportunity to stroke a large stick insect and a leopard gecko.

Despite the heavy rain on Thursday, the girls thoroughly enjoyed this experience, in particular the exciting display from the tigers.
