Minutes of meetings

The governing body of Nonsuch High School for Girls normally meets every half-term. The governing body has three standing committees:

Curriculum and Pupil Welfare Committee - responsible for ensuring that the school meets the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum and monitors the performance of individual departments and recommending the school's annual examination targets to the governing body. The is also responsible for the annual review of the School's admission arrangements. The committee normally meets 4 times each year.

Finance and Facilities Committee - responsible for recommending the annual budget to the governing body and monitoring the monthly financial reports. The committee is also responsible for all the buildings and grounds and for recommending repairs, improvements and capital developments to the governing body. The committee normally meets 6 times each year.

Personnel Committee - responsible for all staffing issues and ensuring that the governing body meets its obligations as a responsible employer within current employment legislation. The committee normally meets 4 times each year.

All meetings are conducted under a formal agenda and minutes of the meetings are prepared and circulated to members by the clerk to the governors.
