School Canteen

The school has a large and modern canteen which serves a variety of snacks at the mid-morning break and a range of meals, salads and snacks during the lunch break. The school introduced a Healthy Eating policy several years ago, which is being fully complied with by the school's current contractor, Independent Catering.
The school holds regular meetings with the contractor to monitor the quality of food and level of service to the students and staff. The new government legislation on minimum nutritional standards is already being surpassed by the current service. Although the school has retained some vending machines, these only supply items in accordance with the government's guidelines.
